Tony Colarusso, Managing Partner
Tony is the Managing Partner of FoxPath Capital Partners, responsible for overall firm and investment oversight. He has over 24 years of experience working in private markets including private equity, leveraged finance, GP-led secondaries, mergers & acquisitions, and legal advisory. Prior to founding FoxPath, Tony spent the bulk of his career at Morgan Stanley, most recently as the Global Head of Private Capital Advisory, where he founded and led the firm’s first secondaries advisory team. He has worked extensively on structuring and financing sponsor-backed leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations, having completed more than 200 successful transactions totaling over $300bn of aggregate value. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he worked in the Leveraged Finance group at Lehman Brothers and practiced corporate M&A and securities law at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. He serves as a Senior Advisor to FalconPoint Partners, a private equity firm based in New York. Tony received a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was an editor of the Law Review.
